Finally, our small town has a little mall of its own. The name Mall@Mfula directly translates to Mall at the River.
WHERE IS IT?
If you’re a local then you probably know. It’s ideally located in the Central Business District of Piet Retief, and is also close to second catchment areas: Retiefville, Kempville, Harmony Park and Ethandakhukanya. The mall is highly visible on the N2 and is nearby the main existing Taxi Rank.
The mall is such an asset to our town and the community because it has created jobs for many people (about 1000 according to our local newspaper, the Excelsior), and it allows the residents of Piet Retief to do much of their shopping here without having to travel to other towns or cities. Yay for Mall@Mfula!
